Raw Material Preparation
Prepare feedstock for polymerization. Includes purification and sometimes catalytic cracking
Polymerization
Monomers chemically react to form long polymer chains using initiators, catalysts, and specific temperature/pressure conditions.
Compounding
Melt-mixing polymers and additives using twin-screw extruders.
Achieve uniform distribution and desired formulation.
Pelletizing
The compounded mixture is cooled and cut into small granules (pellets).
Pellets are easier to handle, transport, and process into final products.
